Highfield Shepherds Retreat is a shepherd's hut for two, set within a private 2-acre grass field in the village of Ingham, Lincolnshire. The field is shared only with resident sheep. The open-plan studio layout features a roaring wood burner that fills the hut with warmth and a satisfying crackle. Large double doors open wide on fine evenings to let in fresh countryside air.

Ingham sits among rolling Lincolnshire farmland with footpaths and country lanes ideal for walking and cycling. The skies here are genuinely dark at night. The firepit grill is perfect for toasting marshmallows under clear skies long after sundown. Alfresco dining is easily done from the furnished outdoor seating area.

The hut sleeps two and has one bedroom with a fold-down double bed that covers the built-in table and chairs at night. There's a Smart TV at the foot of the bed, a double-ring electric hob, fridge and a shower room with WC.

Lincoln city is 9 miles away (approx. 20 mins), with cobbled streets and a cathedral. Lincoln Castle is 9.5 miles. Doddington Hall and Gardens is within 15 miles and Whisby Nature Park is 16 miles away.
