The accommodation was very nice it was set in a pretty rural area there was a main road next to it but this was quite at night time. There was a very large lawn which was good for the dog the only thing that we did notice there was no public footpath close by. We drove down to the louth canal with was only 12 minutes away so was able to enjoy a romantic sunset walk and the dog was able to enjoy a nice walk. It was easy to travel to the seaside and only took about 30 minutes to travel there

Dove Cottage was a comfortable cottage for two and a dog ideally situated for visiting the coast and inland .

Lovely cottage in a great location to enable either a quiet stay or as a base to explore Lincolnshire. The cottage is surprisingly spacious and its a bonus to have the security of the locked gate and dedicated parking for the car. The cottage could be improved by a few minor tweaks including more space to store food for selfcatering and a few additional kitchen items like pint glasses maybe. That being said, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is great and the cottage was very warm and cosy and we would stay happily stay there again. The owner Sara was very friendly and helpful sharing tips about local places to eat but was not intrusive. She was honest about the cottage needing some changes snd they are working through them over time whilst maintaining a reasonable price for stays. We would recommend Dove Cottage and hope to start again in the future.

This is our second visit to Dove cottage. We found everything to be as we expected. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for us and our doodle. Maybe an extra blanket in the bedroom, as we were here as the colder weather started, would be nice. A lovely place to stay and somewhere we will come back to.

The cottage is delightful, however the kitchen although it looks good does not facilitate self catering. No where to put the shopping that we had done. Needs a dedicated cupboard for food. The dishwasher does not clean had to buy washing up liquid. Also although a coffee machine is available you need particular pods to use it . Some there but we only drink black. Outside looking tired.

We were unable to get hot water or heating during the three days we stayed at Dove Farm Cottage. Unable to contact owners or Sykes to rectify matters. This added to an already traumatic weekend as we were in Lincolnshire to see our boy who is end of life. The cottage is lovely apart from this issue

This is our first visit to Dove Farm, and it won't be our last. A comfortable well equipped cottage, a great bed, very comfortable to sleep. A great setting and various places to visit close to hand. we would recommend to anyone, as long as it is not the weeks we want to visit. Only one downside the Toilet, is very low, but the wonderful shower made up for it. We will be back. Barry and Rod.

I recommended anyone who stay in North Lincolnshire book this cottage, only 5 minutes drive to Louth town where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. . also lovely independent shops.. the cottage has large space of garden for my dog to run around.. only issue is that the road can be very dark at night time and very little light at the front where we could not find where the gate is. I would book this cottage again in the future.

Property outside could do with an update. Also the soft furnishings could also do with an updated. Curtains in front room hanging off the pins. The bedding was very thin and being grey did not look as clean as one expected. Towels also not very fresh smelling. We have just returned from Dove Farm Cottage, where we had a very relaxing holiday. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy and comfortable. The bed is especially comfortable. The cottage is on quite a busy road, but the traffic didn't bother us at all. The owners are friendly and helpful. It was lovely looking out of the lounge window across the fields. The outside of the cottage needs a bit of maintenance, and the curtain rail in the lounge needs sorting out. Also there was nowhere in the kitchen to put provisions, One more wall cupboard would be useful. None of this spoiled our holiday, and we would consider returning in the future.

This is a most wonderful cottage. Clean and gas everything we needed. Owners are on site but not intrusive, it is very private. Location very good for Louth and the seaside. We would definitely use it again when we visit the area
