Lovely hosts very accommodating, especially as we booked in the same day. Electric went off a few times reasons unknown but was very quickly resolved through the responsiveness of the hosts. Nice pub down the road and catching the sun rise on the beach walking our dog was lovely. We enjoy cooking home cooked meals and had enough utensils for doing just that. The hosts provide tea, coffee, milk and washing up liquid everything else youll need to purchase on your own but thats expected as its very good value for money. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much. If you are planning on working whilst you are there and using WiFi its not very strong and was unable to access this efficiently to be able to work so just something to bare in mind if this is something you are considering. The home itself was lovely and quaint, very warm and homely with lovely little touches throughout. Thank you for having us especially at such short notice. X

We've really enjoyed our stay at Angel's Retreat. ..such a lovely cosy accommodation and convenient for all local attractions. Great to have had plenty of space to put food etc in the kitchen cupboards which was really helpful as so many places we've stayed in before seem to fill them up with unnecessary volumes of glasses and pots lol. All in all I cannot fault anything at all and thank the owners once again. I'm sure we'll return, praps for a spring or summer retreat. Thankyou!!

Angels retreat was the perfect place for a get away. The accommodation was amazingly clean and cosy. It was perfect for our cocker spaniel with plenty of space and an enclosed garden area that was safe for her to roam. The location of the property was perfect and only a five minute drive to the beach. It was quiet and warm and had everything you would need to self cater. We had no faults at all with the property. We had the best time.

A lovely cottage with everything included in a quiet village on the bus route between Skegness and Mablethorpe. Could happily live in it.

We really enjoyed our week at Angels Retreat. We felt we could ring the owners if we needed to, as we had already met them in the garden. They were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was perfect size for 2 adults and a silly dog. We would go there again.

We enjoyed our stay in Angels Retreat, it is a well cared for single storey cottage ,very clean , lovely furnishings , and 2 areas that are secure if you are taking a dog ,was perfect for our Pug he could go out and we knew he was safe, the cottage is in a ideal place to visit many places on the coast and we were lucky we had beautiful weather,we have booked again for next spring as we know it suits our needs .

Very conveniently placed just 10 minutes walk from local pubrestaurant and Huttoft Car Terrace beach only 3 miles away. The property is exactly as listed and is in perfect condition, the shower is a bit small and water pressure not good but everything else in the property is first class. It's in a lovely quiet village but ideally situated to visit all the attractions in the area. We chose the wrong time of year really January as lots of the places are still closed for the winter and it was extremely cold outside. But would recommend this property if a quiet break in Lincolnshire is what you are looking for.

Fabulous stay. Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful village. Perfect location for exploring Lincolnshire. A short drive to the nearest beach which is vast white sand and secluded...a far cry from Skegness! But if youre after the busyness of colourful Skegness...it is just a short drive away. About an hours drive from Lincoln City which is a must if you are visiting Lincolnshire. You can catch the Park & Ride from Waitrose, Lincoln ...enjoy a full day there and pick up your groceries from Waitrose on your return journey. Lincoln City is why I visited but had the best of both worlds being at the coast with all the beautiful walks and fresh air. Loved my stay at this lovely place and will definitely return. It has everything you need. Fresh milk, tea and coffee was also provided which was very thoughtful. It is super clean, tidy, tastefully furnished and very cosy. Definitely a 5 Star from me.
