Rollin' Dunes Reviews

Suzette
Absolutely lovely spacious chalet Thoughtful treats for dog and dog bowls Basket of goodies for us thank you lovely touch The place was immaculately clean and furnished beautifully Rooms larger than I imagined Everything you need in the kitchen including a microwave It was easy to find and a short stroll to coastal pathway There is nothing negative to say really apart from poor internet dips in and out but your on holiday so The one thing that would make this 100 perfect would have been a secure enclosed garden The only negative thing I could say really Otherwise absolutely perfect!
Sharon
Nice little chalet with good amount of room and decent furniture. The location is perfect with the beach just minutes away. The chalet is nicely decorated and well supplied with all the essentials. However, the statement that there is WiFi Broadband is a stretch there is a very feeble signal from the router and certainly not enough to utilise the Smart TV. Whilst we had no intentions of spending our holiday on devices, it would have been useful to know ahead of time that there wasn't going to be the option of streaming media my recommendation would be to bring a DVD player if you want a movie evening!. The general waste bins was filled to bursting and obviously hadn't been emptied for a long time so we had to leave our rubbish on the top. I'd also dispute the statement that there is room for 2 cars unless the space that was occupied by a boat was the second space? The garden was a nice space that the dog appreciated, although it's a shame that Laurel bushes surround it toxic to dogs. Overall, a nice place but the specifications need to be a bit more honest.
We didnt want to leave! Cant wait to return. Cant fault anything, so peaceful and relaxing, a perfect getaway. One of the best Sykes cottages yet! Loved it!
Had a lovely comfortable stay but my only complaint would be there was no privacy in toilet or bathroom with no blinds or curtains in there. I know they have patterned glass but when light is on and it's dark outside you can still see in there. Other than that very happy.
The chalet was home from home. The dcor is to a very high standard and was very clean. The jacuzzi bath was an added bonus. Couldn't find fault with anything and would recommend a stay. We will definitely be booking again.
I would have given five stars but the let down was no rubbish bags no bin in bathroom and no cleaning cloths the seating at the table wasnt suitable for older people like us to unsteady and wobbly. Never the less we did have a good relaxing holiday in spite of these minor problems.
Lesley Louise
Lovely property. Hope to stay again
Jeffrey
We were very impressed with the welcome pack which was left for us, including chews for the dog. Everything in the chalet looked fresh and new and it was very well equipped. We would have preferred having blinds at the toilet and bathroom windows for when the lights were on inside but that certainly didn't spoil the stay.
Samantha
I took my elderly parents away for a week and they were so impressed with this chalet. Lovely place and so close to beach. The beach is beautiful. Would definitely come here again. Thank you
We loved Rolling Dunes! The furniture, fittings and facilities were perfect for me, my husband mobility problems and our dog. It was warm and comfortable. The welcome basket was just that! Although the garden isn't fenced, it wasn't too much of a problem for us. Fitties Beach is fabulous for friendly dog walking. We parked in the car park located just on the way out of the site. Don't leave without a visit to Papa's Fish & Chips on Cleethorpes Pier well worth it!
Joanne
We had a lovely weeks holiday in your cosy cottage with lovely walks right on the doorstep, no need to use the car. The only problem we had was the size of the fridge which was not big enough for our weeks supplies and had to constantly rotate items.
Well presented cottage, fittings and fixtures high quality, cottage is warm even without the heating on. Dogs soon found the treats that were left for them. 5 minutes to beachpath and 5 minutes to caravan park shop very expensive but local shops only 10 minutes by car. Despite the description saying wellequipped kitchendiner featuring all you could need to prepare tasty dishes there are no ovenproof dishes so i had to go buy some not what i was expecting to have to do after paying 1000 for my holiday. Not sure what other guests used as no one else has mentioned this. If you are planning to do any cooking there are 3 pans, a stove top casserole, small roasting tin and a baking tray. WIFI is not reliable.
Deborah
Perfect place for a family. Very clean has everything you need.We had our teenagers with us they just complained about the Internet keep losing signal but it was nice to not have them both plugged in to a screen constantly. We also took our two dogs it's perfect for them too just a few minutes walk to the beach.Lovely and quiet area.We had a welcome basket when we arrived which was a lovely surprise and the dogs had treats too.We would recommend you stay here.
Lovely, modern, clean and good position for visiting lots of places. .Peaceful area. Brilliant place to bring a pet but needs to be kept on the lead, as garden is not enclosed. Everything supplied within the property. Shops in the local area, within driving distance. Ones on the Thorpe sites are expensive but good for emergency bits. Sand dunes within 10 minutes walk. Best beach area is near the Marina.. Clean and safe. Surrounding areas excellent for walking and taking in the history of the area. Would definitely return. Thank you
Georgina
Lovely little property, ideal for visiting a dog friendly beach and surrounding area. Very clean and tidy, would be good to have an enclosed garden but that's the only improvement we can suggest.. excellent, we'll be back
Annette
Great property of a high standard, the only down side was the ground was not fenced off and dogs were able to wander onto other properties.
Had a fabulous time at Rollin Dunes, peace and quiet. The chalet was fabulous it was equiped with everything you need. It was only 5 mins walk to the beach which our dog loved. The pictures do not do the chalet justice. On arrival had a little problem no electric quick ohone call to owner and issue sorted in seconds over the phone. The only thing that could be improved on would be an enclosed garden. We will return.
This was a really well thought out property, clean, comfortable beds and homely touches, everything had been well thought out for people to have a lovely stay.
Richard
Lovely property and ideal for dog lovers as nice walks along the beach & coast. Property had everything and a lovely welcome basket, modern and nice. Only thing I would say is towels would be better if they were bath sheets but that was the only negative. Otherwise a great long weekend away which we really enjoyed.
Steven
Really nice chalet, would benefit from a microwave and a better quality bed in the master bedroom. Squeaky floor in main space was an issue at night, but other than that a really well appointed holiday home.
