Leafy Hollow Lodge, Louth

The lodge was extremely clean and well equipped. The owners had taken the time to decorate it for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was spacious and well furnished, witth plenty of comfortable seating. I enjoyed my stay very much.

We had the most amazing time in this lovely lodge. The location was perfect. It was so quiet which was exactly what we wanted. The inside of the lodge was stunning. It was very spacious, warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The welcome hamper was a great surprise and even the dogs were catered for. We would highly recommend this accommodation and the owner was extremely helpful with any questions we had. Hope to return again.

A lovely week at Leafy Hollow. The Lodge is spacious yet cosy, secluded but near to amenities, rustic yet beautifully equipped. The location is excellent, with walks from the doorstep to Louth or across the golf course. The equipment was excellent with everything you could need. Comms with the owner was quick and efficient, and with the finishing touch of a very welcome welcome pack. Great place to kick back and switch off.

Enjoyed our stay in Leafy Hollow, everything that we needed, very clean and welcoming. Lovely hamper on arrival. Area was quiet. Plenty of things for a family to do in the surrounding area, swimming pool in hotel on site.

Lovely lodge could not ask for anything more.

You would honestly not know that this is pet friendly, no doggy smells. Lovely comfortable home.

My sister and I had a really wonderful week at leafy hollow lodge. Every thought had gone into making our stay so comfortable and relaxing and we look forward to going back again.

We stayed at the Leafy Hollow over new year break and it was such a lovely surprise on arrival! The pictures do not do this place justice, especially during the festive time! We arrived just after 3pm to twinkling lights around the lodge and full lit Christmas tree inside with other lovely decorations, it really did feel festive! The lights and heating were on and it was such a cosy vibe. Two hampers on arrival were a lovely surprise, one with new year decorations, goodies and Prosecco and one for the dog ft blankets, ball and goodies, lovely idea! The lodge was spacious, fully equipped and immaculately clean. Walking around the site was quiet and peaceful during our stay which was perfect for us. Squirrel food was also left and a huge hit with the children. Ideally located, short drive into Louth and some lovely places to eat there. Thankyou for an amazing stay. We will definitely book this lodge again! 5star!.

Beautiful lodge. Everything we needed and more. Highly recommend staying here. Scenery is gorgeous out in the woods, but it does mean at times the signal is slow or drops. We bought ourselves data dongle they are cheap & easy to buy it helped with remote working on laptop and kids using gadgets. The lodge WiFi worked fine for smart tv. We loved our stay!!!

Lovely place, took my disabled dad away for a peaceful break and that is definitely what we got. The place is very cosy. We were welcomed with a gift basket which was a lovely surprise. They even thought about our dog, he certainly loved the treats they left for him. Thank you the break it was what my family needed

Leafy hollow was very nice could not fault in any way so clean and comfortable did not need for anything. We always go in a caravan but now we have been spoilt it will be a lodge everytime. My sister in law came with us and she loved the squirrels she must have spent all her holiday money on peanuts.

The property was lovely it's well loved and looked after and you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door , the extra touches are very welcome and a big surprise, we have stayed in properties like this before in France but this one tops them all, the owners have included everything for you to just chill out and enjoy the scenery and recharge your batteries, the dog was not forgotten either and that was a lovely thought, will book again

3rd visit can't fault it. Feels like home away from home. Always clean. And beautiful decor

What an amazing cabin and a lovely retreat. The cabin was exactly as described, immaculately cleaned and had all the welcome information we needed for the cabin and the local area. Very comfortable space for a family of six and a dog, I would 100 recommend it and would happily go back to stay again

First class accommodation.its a credit to Sarah you can see the love care and attention to details.beautiful comfy beds and very beautiful furniture.very clean and as all you need for your holiday.great communication with Sarah.thank you so much for a very relaxing break it was just what we needed.lovely sitting on veranda coffee on a morning and a glass or two early evening,and coming in to the log burner so cosy on an evening.we loved the hamper Prosecco crisps and chocolate were a lovely touch.would recommend this accommodation and would to go again

A superb stay in a great location. The lodge had fantastic facilities and was spotlessly clean the log burner was great and we used it every night! The welcome pack for both us and our dog was a wonderful touch too and really appreciated as we were unfamiliar with the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful relaxing family holiday. Clean lodge and very homely, the log burner was really nice and a great addition. Lots to do on site for the kids and the dog. Great location for days out. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Leafy Hollow.

We are a group of 4 adults and 2 children. We stayed for 3 nights at leafy hollow lodge and we were all blown away by how lovely it was. We were welcomed by a glowing light that had been left on for us, a beautiful decorative leaf wreath on the front door and as we opened the door a subtle woody cinnamon scent. The lodge is spacious and beautifully decorated with a tasteful woodland Norwegian style, from woodland green soft fleece sofa blankets to woodland creature ornaments and mini felt gonks displayed with fairy lights which my daughter loved. Waiting for us was a welcome basket of Prosecco a Victorian sponge and some luxury crisps with a welcome card, a very nice touch. The two shower rooms toilet areas were spotlessly clean and fresh. I slept in the main double room and myself and my husband agreed the bed was like sleeping in a cloud, very comfortable. Due to the mixed weather on our visit we all appreciated the log burning fire to create a cosy warm atmosphere and the bigger than usual selection of dvds and jigsaws games for kids & adults. Contact with the owners Sarah & Jason was reassuringly easy, they were very quick to respond and very helpful with anything we needed or any questions. As the lodge is located in a wood the WiFi is quite weak so plan ahead for day trips places to eat etc before you go if you like to internet search. There is a detailed welcome pack & selection of leaflets in the lodge for local things to do places to visit & eat out etc. We found leafy hollow lodge the ideal hideaway from everyday life & stress and we actually enjoyed disconnecting from phones and spending more time together socialising in a very Hygge environment. We visited The Cheese Shop in Louth, worth a visit, the Brown Cow pub in Louth for a Sunday roast which was delicious and we took the children to the Wildlife centre zoo which we all enjoyed. Absolutely stunning lodge. So clean, well maintained and felt cosy from the time we walked in. Lovely little welcome basket on arrival and a little welcome treat for our dog! Sarah's communication was first class all the way through as well as Sykes Cottages. Great Easter weekend break with the family.

This is our second stay, we loved it so much we've booked again. The lodge has a wonderful homely feel. You really feel special when staying there. There is everything you need to make your stay perfect. Sarah is always on hand to help with anything and the addition of the log burner is perfect. Its now become one of our regular places to stay.

Thank you for such an amazing stay. The lodge is beautifully finished to such a high standard and so cozy and welcoming. The gift baskets for both us and the doggies was such a lovely touch. Thank you for the hampers. Very enjoyable stay. Only issue was with Internet not working in main bedroom. Could do with the lodge number on the end as we arrived in the dark and it was only looking back from the next sign we spotted the name. Many regards

Good communication with the property owner. Property was warm, comfortable and welcoming. Lots of thoughtful and useful touches in the accommodation. Perfect as a base to explore the beautiful and interesting area.

We had a fantastic few days away at Leafy Hollow Lodge. The location, the facilities, the welcome, all brilliant. The only thing we missed was a teapot and if that's the only complaint then I'd say they're doing a pretty good job! Definitely recommended.

The lodge was beautifully presented and with everything we needed for a quiet break away. It is spacious and comfortable, and in fantastic condition, with so many nice touches such as a basket of treats on arrival. The whole look and feel to the lodge was perfect, and the heating was easy to control to ensure a comfortable temperature for us all. Communication with the lodge owner and the information provided was great throughout and we were made to feel very welcome during our stay and also in communications afterwards. We would happily come back to stay again. The setting itself was fantastic within the woods with some great trails to walk on and some great on site facilities included, plus it is only a very short drive into town. We would highly recommend thiis propery

Home from home lodge in the woodland , recently refurbished and had everything you could need and more. The welcome packs for the humans and dog were an added extra, making a lovely start to the holiday. The large tv and large comfy settees made chilling out very easy . The only minor problem was the internet speed , but we managed and will certainly be looking at returning .

Wow! What a beautiful place. The lodge was immaculate. It smelt gorgeous. The welcome baskets were great, especially the one for scooby, such a great idea. Our daughter luna loved the trees and wildlife. I don't have anything negative to say! Just stunning. We have booked to go back x

Leafy Hollow is a beautiful lodge that offers comfort, peace and quiet. The lodge offers attention to detail inside and feels like you are being spoilt. The location is stunning and ideal for exploring the great outdoors. The hotel on the site offers spa treatments and bookable kids activities which was also fab to keep a child happy in between the exploring the area. We will certainly be back, thank you so much

Leafy Hollow is one of the nicest places I have stayed in! Super cozy, 5 star amenities everything you could possible need and high quality, spotlessly clean smelt beautiful! The welcome hamper and note left for us was the icing on the cake to a truly lovely stay!

Our stay at Leafy Hollow Lodge was absolutely wonderful. What a beautiful natural surrounding, with sounds of nature on your doorstep. The lodge itself was spacious and very clean inside, with lots of space for my family of 6 and our dog max. The look inside and outside of the lodge was gorgeous. Our visits to Skegness beach and theme parks were great. With a Morrisons were we did all our shopping a short drive in the car away. Also the visit to the zoo was great the kids loved it . I would highly recommend because we will surely be booking again
