The house is in a gorgeous situation with lovely views from all windows and is sunny and warm inside so despite the weather being quite cold, windy and rainy on some days in June! we didn't need to use the open fire, but this would make it very cosy. Most items that you need on holiday are provided including a washerdryer and dishwasher but note, no hair dryer nor coffee machine, and, as a suggestion, an initial supply of milk, sugar, tea bags and coffee would be a nice welcome when you first arrive after a journey. The house and location, in the parkland of a large estate, is an excellent comfortable and private place to stay. There are lots of public footpaths that can be reached directly on foot from the property if you don't want to venture too far, but also plenty of interesting places to visit nearby by car, including the coast, if you do want to go slightly further afield. The owners live in, and are renovating, the neighbouring coach house but they are very thoughtful and discreet and we were not disturbed at all. However, whilst the listing clearly states that the garden is not enclosed it wasn't so clear that the coach house, although detached, is fairly close and from that perspective it wasn't ideal for our dog, who can sometimes be reactive with strangers sorry. The addition of some basic fencing just between the two properties would greatly improve the situation. But even without that, we would love to visit again in the future, as the location is stunning.

On arrival we were welcomed to a stunning view, we were in awe! The accomodation was beautiful with everything you could want home from home. Tranquil, peaceful, secluded and views from every room.. wildlife was everywhere alongside horses & beautiful Nhala resident cat, lovely public walks near by and close enough to all amenities, Mablethorpe not to far, for a lovely beach side trip alongside many other quiet beaches to choose from. 3 ladies looking to relax, and we certainly did. A beautifully peaceful cottage which has been tastefully furnished and was very clean. It has really lovely views, was very comfortable and extremely quiet so we slept very well. We loved seeing the cows in the nearby field and the swans in the lake. A super base for exploring Lincolnshire.

Beautiful cottage, lovely views with everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Owners were brilliant, sending a really helpful text with arrival instructions. We will be back, just loved every second of our stay!

Really enjoyed our short break at Lake View Cottage. Clean and comfortable and very relaxing with lovely views all around. Everything that we required was provided for. Highly recommend staying here as a relaxing stay but a great base if you want to visit attractions in the area. Owners are very helpful.
