Printers Cottage Reviews

Lovely place to stay
Gillian
A beautiful holiday home, lovely quiet location, private parking, cosy interior, and everything you could need in a home from home.
Great location for visiting the Coast. The Cottage was well equipped, beautiful interior, well laid out. The coffee machine was a welcome touch, as was the welcome basket. A faultless stay!
Richard
Very comfortable and well equipped. Clean and well presented. Perfect for the Wolds and exploring the coast. A good location in friendly and interesting Alford. Enjoyed our stay and the welcome was lovely. Nb could be us but couldn't get the upstairs toilet door to lock it wasn't a problem.
Caroline
Printers Cottage is an excellent holiday base comfortable, conveniently laid out, wellequipped and quiet though in the centre of Alford. Everything guests could possibly need is provided and in wellorganised format, including the instructions for all appliances invaluable, though we barely needed to refer to any. We made good use of the parking space and outdoor seating, too. The owners were also very helpful and responsive, so all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.
Lovely cottage which is kept so nice and clean. Welcome box made us feel cosy despite Storm Bert raging outside. The garden is open to the road, but nice neighbours told us of handy local walkways, which made it easier for early morning doggy trips. I would definitely stay again.
Claire
A fantastic cottage for our short break. Lovely cottage and convenient to local shops and an ideal base to explore from. Quiet and comfortable just what was needed!
Richard
This is a beautiful cottage, perfect for a short break near the coast. Excellent communication from the owners, the property itself was very well equipped, immaculately clean with high quality furnishings. There were so many thoughtful touches in each room, it was very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!
Lovely little cottage nestled in quiet location in Alford Town. All shops, market square etc right to hand. Weather was mixed for our stay and had a couple of days curled up in cosy sitting room in front of smart tv streaming 5 series of Luther! Beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard! Thank you to owners for our welcome pack and loan of your holiday cottage.
Philip
A fantastic stay in the Printers Cottage. Great communication from hosts and lovely welcome pack, even treats for our dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well presented. We definitely recommend for anyone considering. We stayed with our small dog and found the cottage great location for Alford and a short drive to many of the local beaches. The cottage is spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. We didn't use the small patio garden area as it wasn't enclosed. a lovely time was had by all. Thank you.
Nicola
Beautiful, cosy cottage decorated to a high standard. Excellent facilities. Lovely welcome hamper much appreciated. Cottage close to lots of lovely beaches and quaint historic towns. Lots to explore.
I am not very good at putting my thoughts into words, but Printers cottage was in every way was excellent.
Rebecca
Such a wonderful cottage, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay again and bring our dogs next time too.
Michael
Lovely and well maintained property. All dressed for Christmas with a thoughtful welcome hamper. The cottage has everything you may need and is close to local amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visiting the seals.
It was lovely with good quality fittings and fixtures, warm, clean and comfortable. Welcome pack was a bonus. Only minor issue was one of the kitchen bins seemed impossible to remove so was difficult to empty and clean. Also given that we had to be out by 10am it would have been nice to be able to leave dishes in the dishwasher to run after we'd left.
Lovely cottage in the heart of a village, but so peaceful which did surprise us. The cottage was clean with nice furniture, good quality beds , no clutter, just fresh and cosy. Well pleased and I have been to many cottages over the years.
Printers Cottage is absolutely lovely. The house is comfortable and clean with everything you could need. Its the perfect location to explore the Lincolnshire coast.
We had a very enjoyable week. The cottage was very comfortable and warm, as the temperature dopped towards the end of our stay and within easy walking distance of local shops and grooming parlour for the dog!. Lots to do within a 20 mile radius, and good local walks from the doorstep. The one thing that would have been useful would have been a small saucepan, but that's a very minor drawback!
Christine
Great place and was well situated for going to beaches etc. The town of Alford was very friendly with an eclectic mix of shops. Also great walking area. Only gripe no gin and tonic glasses
Thank you for a great few days in the cottage. Lovely and comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Well situated for visiting local attractions and beaches. Wed recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
Rachel
Lovely cottage, very well presented. Nice touches, re welcome pack and for the dog.. we would rebook in the future. Thanks
Nice and clean, had everything we needed.
A lovely property full of everything you need for a holiday. Comfy beds and a lovely welcome pack.
This is a tasteful, comfortable cottage the owners have given special consideration to. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, even though we were on a short break. Everything was spotlessly clean and they seemed to have thought of everything. Even though it's in town, it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again if in area and it's available.
Andrea
We stayed at Printer's Cottage for nearly 8 weeks from Jan to March, whilst relocating to Lincolnshire from Yorkshire. The property was amazing, the kitchen had everything anyone would need during a stay, with dishwasher, washing machine and space outside to hang some washing. All rooms were very well presented and very clean. We had a dog who was more than happy here, many choices of walks very close by, and was even provided with own towels in utility room. Jess was very lovely and kept in regular contact for bed changes too. Would very much recommend this Cottage, the stay was great.
Kamila
House was spotless, and everything in the house was amazing, however we have decided to end our holiday 2 days earlier as there was no garden, which we weren't aware of and that was a little issue to us because our gods are not used to go poty being on the leash. Otherwise, there were no complaints, and the owners did a fantastic job. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your place.
