2 Fieldview, Huttoft

We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Loved the property and area so much, we have booked again, for later in the year. The property was very spacious, well equipped and clean. A secure enclosed garden, with amazing views over open fields. We were annoyed that we forgot our binoculars, as there was lots of wildlife to see. There were gorgeous beaches in either direction, a few minutes from the property. I would highly recommend this property Lorraine, Martin and Baxter

Back again to this lovely Bungalow, our 3rd visit, booked two weeks but so relaxed we booked a third week, never want to leave. Everything you need for your visit, equipped well, comfortable bed and quiet location off the beaten track, but close enough to Chapel St Leonards or Sutton on Sea or Mablethorpe. We can only visit in winter as a Park Warden on a caravan park but still make the best of our holiday, bet it's lovely in the summer looking out to open fields and seeing the Deer running free. Plenty of Birds visit the garden too, Robins, Blue Tit's, Moore Hens wished it was my bit of Heaven.

We had a really lovely week at 2 Fieldview. The bungalow was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed. The views are beautiful and it is a very short pleasant walk to the beach and nature trails. The area is full of natural beauty and the cafe at Huttoft Beach has the best Latte. We are new to the area and were very impressed by both the bungalow itself and the location. We will definitely be back. The only small suggestions we would make are that the bathroom could do with an extractor fan and the DVD does not connect to the TV as no scart socket, so a blue ray may be a better alternative... but neither effected out stay which we loved. Thanks very much

Really enjoyed our week at Field view good location for walking. A clean and comfortable cottage. The owner should be proud of what she has done. Would highly recommend Field view.

Myself, mother and my two dogs travelled from Matlock Peak District to have a 1 week stay at 2 Fieldview. Choosing this cottage bungalow due to the beautiful location and surroundings. 2 Fieldview was clean and very homely with beautiful decor and thoughtful finishing touches. It was more than well equipped with pretty much everything youd need to enjoy your stay. The peace and quiet was just what we needed. Parking was visibly signed, I have an SUV and I had enough room to park in the designated spot. All the beds were very comfortable, its been a long time since Ive slept in a single though, maybe having the two singles with a zip link could be an option? But this didnt impact on my sleep at all

We had a lovely time at 2 field view Huttoft . We have stayed at a lot of cottages over the years and this cottage is far the best we have stayed in. Everything you would need and more to make your stay comfortable and easy is provided. Parking was a bit confusing at first but not a problem for us. Possibly not ideal for anyone with mobility problems . Just a short distance to the lovely beach the dogs had a wonderful time . Overall we would give the stay 10 out of 10 . Thank you

We love staying at the cottage, it's the perfect place to really unwind and relax. It's warm, clean and quiet so you feel at home straight away. A refreshing beach walk to the Vista Boat shed cafe for brunch and nice coffee is just the perfect start to the day. We're looking forward to our next stay already!

It was a very nice place,breathtaking views from the back garden. Would defiantly stay again.

Overall the property was homely, warm and well equipped and a lovely place to stay. However, i feel that the listing should point out that the driveway is shared, and to get from the parking space to the property, part of the surface walking to it is soil, then chippings, then down a flagged path past the first property to the gate, then uneven stepping stones lead to the doorstep of this beautiful property. the distance is around 65 paces from car to cottage, a way to go if you have walking difficulties and the stepping stones would be a problem too i feel.And again as has been mentioned by other people, there is no key to the conservatory doors , and the sliding door to the conservatory only had one loose lock and the other was missing. Just a few pointers that could be sorted to make the properties grounds more user friendly.. had a great stay otherwise !

From the moment you step inside this property you know it's going to be something special. Bungalow wonderful with far reaching countryside views. And what a bonus to have a dog friendly beach and cafe at hand. Would thoroughly recommend this property. Never visited this area before but have definitely left a piece of our hearts behind. Super cottage in a very convenient and peaceful spot. Property was very clean and it was spacious and well equipped. Back garden was secure for our dog. Glorious view from back area across fields particularly at sunset. Many thanks. We had a great week and we would definitely consider going back in the future. Please find below hopefully constructive points of interest that might be useful? Signage for driveway would be beneficial along with the directions showing the distance from Sea Lane to 2 Field view. Note that the walk to the seafront is only about 15 minutes Google but the walk is on a narrow road with no pathway so driving would be advisable, particularly with a dog. These points could be helped by the road development ongoing now until the spring. The adjoining property and garden very unkempt which can be disconcerting on arrival but this is a false impression of 2 Field View. Beware deep steps from the main property to the 2 conservatories. There are missing keys from the main conservatory lock to the exterior reported when arrived. Unfortunately with the super weather and my wifes knee issues, this meant the conservatory and the back garden were less accessible. The patio door into the main conservatory from the lounge is damaged reported when arrived.

Fantastic wee cottage within walking distance to the beach and a few minutes drive to surrounding villages and towns. Would return in the future if I was heading to the same area.

Thank you for a lovely stay at your cottage, the cottage was well equipped with everything needed a dishwasher wouldve been great. The double bed was comfy although the mattress was a bit too firm for me though thats my personal opinion. Overall a great stay in a lovely peaceful location with easy access to a quiet beach. Had a great stay at field view . Great base for touring around went to lots of lovely places. Nice quiet location to relax in the evening . will be back again x

This holiday cottage was lovely. So comfortable & cosy & very clean. We did have a struggle finding the property as it was a bit overgrown around the entrance onto the driveway. Perhaps a sign on the road with the name of the cottage would be a big help. We would definitely book again .

We had a fabulous stay! The bungalow was lovely, very quiet, with beautiful field views, very well equipped and very comfortable, five minutes to a very quiet beach and nature reserve and a very nice cafe! Not far to drive to busier places with pubs and places to eat. We had a relaxing time and the dogs loved it

We had a much needed break at the cottage. It was very clean and extremely well equipped. The information we received was perfect, our little dog fully enjoyed running around the garden and exploring. We fully recommend this property to all its definitely 5 statin all quarters we will definitely return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Field View , Huttoft beach . The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed . The garden was secure for the dogs and getting to and from the car with them was easy with the gated drive . From the house it was a short drive to the excellent beeches and fields to walk . The roads were quiet enough to cycle round and very nice and flat ! Plenty of interesting places to go visit round and about . Good food and drinks at the Axe and Cleaver in the village .

We have stayed here twice now and have found the cottage to be clean, warm and comfortable, We particularly like the peace and quiet and close proximity to the beech. We will probably use it again in the near future.

Another great stay at 2 Field View. The highlight of this visit was seeing wild deer from the kitchen window on numerous occasions. Great veggie breakfast at the Vista at the Boatshed at Huttoft Beach, less than a mile walk, a few minutes by car. Good sunny weather for October. Storm Babet overnight blew down a fence panel my husband slotted it back in and blew over the lighter patio table and chairs. Very warm and comfortable property. Almost everything we needed there. A box of tissues would be a welcome addition and washing basket to help in pegging out the washing. I used the dog basket that was there!

The fridge temperature was not cold enough. Even on the highest setting. The milk went off after 2 days. The bathroom shower was too hot. and we could not adjust it. An extra small frying pan would be useful. and a new can opener. But otherwise it is a lovely cottage, close to the beach.

Cottage had everything that was necessary kitchen was well equipped. Dog bed and bowls were a nice touch. Garden had knee high weeds when we arrived, which was disappointing. Someone did come to do the weeding early in the week. Garden was secure for small dogs with a low fence. Spacious and comfortable sitting room. Pillows are flat and need replacing in double bedroom and one single bed sags to the side. Very clean cottage. We used the marked parking spot, which was great. Not sure there would be space for a second car in the drive area outside garden as stated in the information as neighbour parks there sometimes. Were concerned with the warning to not approach attached nextdoor cottage under any circumstances. A bit scary as this is a rather isolated, rural area. Great view across open field from the back. Loved the geese flying over every night.

This property was in an ideal situation but on arrival the next door attached property was closed down and the weeds at the entrance and all around were weeds 4foot high! Hindering our entry. Our property also full of weeds. Once inside it appeared that the neighbour was feared although no one was there. !!! Very strange! However apart from no grab rail on bath all was good inside.

The property is so overgrown with grass and weeds it made it very difficult to find the small post box to say fileld view completely overgrown that its impossible to think there could be a HOLIDAY COTTAGE in this spot my husband walks with elbow crutches and the weeds were hindering him as we walked back and forward to our car as for the instructions DO NOT UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES approach the bungalow next door well you have to walk right past this property to get to the bungalow but as we had to phone the owner to find the bungalow, the path to the property is a disgrace.

Smell outside drains,to make next door came round to comment about them we she says she had complained about them before, not cleaned behind settee in large conservatory stains on carpet smell in living room ,black mould round bath,electric box in small conservatory OPEN ! , not good when you have two grandchildren.

Always nice to stay at Fieldview, away from work and stress. Lovely relaxing time. Bike riding and nice surroundings . Will visit again !. Wendy and Andy from Coalville.

One of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. Clean warm cosy well equipped and so peaceful. Welcome hamper was a lovely gesture and very dog friendly.

Had a wonderful stay at this delightful little cottage. Such a peaceful location but so close to the sea, perfect for my pooch, George. Cottage was clean and cosy, just perfect.
