The Coach House Reviews

Michael John
Very happy with everything apart from the entry time could have been slightly earlier
What a lovely fantastic property to get away from it all and relax in. My Mum, Holly the dog and I had an enjoyable time visiting the south Lincolnshire area. The property looks so good, especially in the sunshine, we could tell a lot of passion and effort has gone into this property.
A wonderful property which had every convenience thought of to make our stay a memorable one. The only reservation we had was the very low seating area which is difficult to get up from as there are no alternatives with the other two chairs provided in the lounge area also being very low this is not ideal for older people. The property is set in a charming village and is in a good location, it was very well set up to accept dogs and there were good local walks.
Jennifer
We have just spent the New Year at The Coach House and it was fabulous. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you could need and more. It is situated in a lovely village location where everyone is so friendly. We arrived to a lovely welcome hamper which was a great touch. Communication with David the owner was great and nothing was too much trouble. Seeing as we had such a good time we have already booked again,. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful property and even better that we could take our family pet Dennis with us
Samantha
The coach house is a beautiful place, set in an idyllic village. It has everything you could possibly need, It is cosy and comfy with a modern but homely feel. Our Christmas there felt very special, our only regret is that we didnt stay longer !
Elisabeth
Wonderful cottage and beautifully equipped in such a lovely location when the skies are clear the star watching was amazing. The garden was perfect for our dogs who could mooch about in safety whilst we sat and watched the places go by perfect for any place spotters! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
A fabulous place. The 4 humans and 5 dogs had a lovely time in this truly dog friendly place. We spent a lot of time in the garden just relaxing. Will definitely rebook if we are ever coming to the area in the future. The only issue was we weren't with you long enough!!
Jennifer

And the little welcome basket is a lovely little touch . Cant wait to return !!!! Xx
Richard
I highly recommend this property to friends who want to catch up. It is spacious and comfortable, with great facilities. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive and interesting places to visit. David was a helpful host and communicated with us quickly when needed.
Jennifer
Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, they literally have thought of everything from a cupboard full of games which the kids loved to a well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need ! The owners were so helpful and friendly and the welcome pack and card were such a lovely touch, cant wait to go back in March !!
The Coach House was a wonderful place to stay for our recent holiday. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The property was well maintained, with a well equipped kitchen. We absolutely loved out stay. David was very accommodating with out last minute additions! Certainly a place to come back to again. Would definitely recommend The Coach House.
Elizabeth

Big thanks to David who was most welcoming, friendly and accommodating, which complimented our stay. I would highly recommend The Coach House, its private and secure and we will definitely return.
Stuart
A beautiful property, well maintained and prepared for your comfort a lot of thought has gone in to making the stay luxurious but not stuffy ! ! The welcome pack is a nice touch and we enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog
Fantastic cottage. Sofa could do with a upgrade as it is a little tired but thats been picky. The cottage is lovely and owners very nice. Lovely welcome pack. Thank you so much. Cranwell village really nice and pleasant. Rosie our dog settled in really well and loved the cottage. We loved the decor and can only applaud the owners taste. Thank you for a lovely week at your beautiful cottage.
Vanessa
A wonderful place to stay. David has thought of everything you could possibly need to make you welcome & comfortable. A great base for both sightseeing & shopping. Hope to return. Thank you for caring about your visitors & putting in the extra thought.
Michael
Stairs are an issue for older folk as is the folding dining table provision for 4 people . Otherwise very pleasant .
Angela
My stay at the Coach House with my daughter was perfect. Location directions were clear and concise. On arrival we explored the accommodation and it was spotless. Plenty of clean towels and linen for all the bedrooms. The welcome hamper and the milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The kitchen is very well equipped, we could have hosted a dinner party with all that was there. The furniture was lovely, the sofa was so comfortable I didnt want to get up and go to bed. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep as described in the booking details but the bedroom and bathroom upstairs were as wonderful as everything downstairs. My only suggestion is maybe some sort of window coverings upstairs as the spring sunshine can wake you up if youre trying to have a lie in. There are three tvs and free wifi so teenage guests or anyone needing internet access will have no worries. The outside space was very nice. We didnt use any of the patio furniture as the weather wasnt cooperating but it was there if we needed it. Parking was good, and having the electric entry gate provided security, even though I dont think anything untoward was likely to happen, Cranwell Village is a lovely quiet village. A short stroll down the road to the Willows Country Tearoom for a lovely lunch is highly recommended. The Coach House is perfectly situated to explore nearby Sleaford and Lincoln, and further if you want to. Just a few minutes from the main Sleaford to Lincoln road, but far enough to be not bothered by noise or traffic. We werent disturbed by our hosts at all, but the fact that they were right there if we needed anything we didnt was great. As we left I did go and say goodbye and compliment them on their lovely property. Do I recommend the Coach House? 100 yes! Will we be back? Definitely!
Our second visit to this beautifully renovated and stylish coach house was thoroughly enjoyable. It has excellent facilities and is very comfortable for a group of four. The property is ideally located to visit places such as Woodall Spa, Lincoln, Stanford, Belton House NT, Newark, Cranwell Aviation Museum, etc, etc.
The Coach House is an absolutely beautiful property, with everything you need. The owners were kind enough to leave the fixings for tea and coffee, as well as other yummy treats. We plan on coming back in 2023!
Just a perfect stay. Great location, lovely village and also very close to Sleaford for supermarkets, takeaways etc. Cottage was stunning! Even better than the pictures and had absolutely everything we needed. Stairs are necessarily extremely steep, not an issue for us but to be aware of for people who may struggle. Very dog friendly, secure outside area for them. There's also a secure dog field around the corner which was really convenient and we went to several times. We were staying to visit family and will definitely be back. Thanks for making us so welcome!
Michael
Lovely property and very friendly owner. You must use the local post office shop for great local produce. The cafe next door has great food.
Gareth

Catherine
The Coach House is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed every minute. It has been beautifully converted, with thoughtful design of the living space to maximise pleasure in its use, but also enjoyment of the little garden, even if it is raining! The hosts were super welcoming and friendly, and I wanted for nothing. I shall be back!
It felt sooooo comfortable I wished we could have stopped longer. The village is lovely too a real community.
Leonie
An absolute delight to stay here! Will definitely be coming back
Wonderful stay at The Coach House, beautifully renovated and kitchen well equipped. Lovely welcoming touches. Only slight issue was staying with 3 children as seating together to eat was a bit tricky as only a small folding table to eat at. There is however a lovely outside dining table but it wasn't quite warm enough to use during our stay although we did enjoy breakfast out in the garden one morning. Hosts were very accommodating, particularly when I managed to forget something not once but twice!! Garden nice and secure for our dog too.
Michael
Amazing property, really comfortable and great for the dog with a separate enclosed garden. Owner was very friendly and on hand for anything we needed and loved the nice touches left for us on arrival.
Very nice property in lovely setting with secure off road parking. We enjoyed the garden & watching the new lambs in the adjacent field & the planes coming into land at RAF Cranwell all from the comfort of the lounge. Also one of the best welcome hampers with complimentary drinks we have ever had! The beds were extremely comfortable too.
Beverley
We felt a true warmth as soon as we arrived,David was so very helpful and patient helping us to understand the tv,. The cottage is truly outstanding, with everything you need and maintained to an extremely high standard
Lovely conversion that is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!
Superbly appointed, extremely comfortable and lovely and warm! This is a brilliant holiday cottage that left nothing to chance. The owners were very welcoming on arrival, and then let us be, which was great. A really good base for exploring Boston and Lincoln and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, this was an amazing find. Our greyhound loved it too!
The Coach House was a great place to stay for the week. The care that has gone into making sure the house is comfortable and well equipped is second to none. The outside space was brilliant and safe for our 2 dogs. Our hosts were next door and were only ever a phone call away if we had needed anything. I can strongly recommend The Coach House as a lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay. The welcome basket was very thoughtful and much appreciated too.
Great property in a lovely location. The property owner was very helpful and left some lovely goodies for when we arrived. We were a group of friends with young children and it was a perfect size for us. The upper level bedroom is accessed by narrow steep stairs so worth noting when booking but it didnt impact our stay. Thank you.
George
Brilliant design throughout hence the official Building Regulators recognition received, the property is well above a five star rating. There is nothing missing and you could easily spend all your time indoors. The outdoor garden area is well suitable for your pets and it is enclosed, therefore no need to worry if you have a more exploring dog. The place is well heated and the underfloor heating does help a lot. Well done to the owners who put a lot of effort and heart in this place.
Wonderful property, warm and comfortable. Views across open countryside are wonderful offering some beautiful sunrises. If the squirrels dont entertain you during your stay the aircraft landing at near by RAF Cranwell will. The owners could not have been more hospitable.
We stayed at the Coach House for Christmas week. David was an excellent host, couldnt do enough for us. Lots of little touches lovely hamper, wine in the fridge etc and excellent facilities. We loved playing Buzz on the PlayStation! Very dog friendly with enclosed garden which was perfect for our sausage dog. Bain Calladine party December 2021
