We stayed at Millside for 4 nights as a family of 3 adults. Our first impression was how much more spacious it was than we expected from the photographs. It is beautifully furnished, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. One of the best we have stayed in and almost certainly the cleanest. Parking was not a problem with the permit provided. We were able to park right outside. The walk to the centre of the old town castle and cathedral was less than a 10 minute flat walk. Lots of places to eat within an easy walk and the Lincolnshire Life Museum at the end of the road. We loved Lincoln like a smaller, cleaner and less busy York and will definitely return to Millside. Thank you for sharing you faultless holiday home.

Millside is lovely. We had a very comfortable stay the accommodation has everything thing you could need it is very clean and well thought out, one of the nicest Sykes properties we have stayed in. Millside is perfectly located for walking into Lincoln for all the attractions restaurants etc. We would love to revisit Lincoln and Millside would definitely be our first choice. Ten out of ten!

A beautifully modernised and tastefully decorated terrace house within a short walk of the Cathedral quarter offering many shops, pubs and eateries. An unusual location next to Ellis windmill, a local landmark. The parking permits provided allowed us to reach everywhere on foot and we got plenty of exercise walking up Steep Hill! Our hosts thoughtfully provided everything including a Lincolnshire Plum Loaf in a generous Welcome Pack for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! This immaculate house was warm and well furnished with comfortable beds. Definitely a place to return to for future visits to a great city!

Millside really is a very nice, very well equipped and comfy place to stay, neat and clean, only 10 minutes walk away from the city. We got a generous welcome pack put together with deliberation and love. The contact with the owners was very friendy and helpful . In fact, this was the best holiday accomodation we stayed in for years. So, a special thank you to the owners. Lincoln is very worth a visit with its magnificent cathedral, impressive castle and the old city with much atmosphere, some nice pubsrestaurants and small individual shops, by that less crowded than f.e. York.

Superb holiday once again. Our hosts never fail to let us down, they are true professionals. A house full of homely comforts and cleanliness outstanding. Definitely worth a return visit. A car not necessary as everywhere of interest, plus restaurants within walking distance. We even managed to see the musical Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the cathedral. We enjoyed our stay very much. The interior was very nice, so a lovely start to our holiday. Just have 3 suggestions 1 Plastic beaker for cleaning teeth in bathroom. 2 Nonslip mat for in bath shower. 3 Plugin night light on the landing near the stairs. These would all be good safety features. Everything else in the house was perfect. So, a big thank you for letting us stay in your property.

Millside was very well decorated, looked extremely attractive and clean. Beds were warm and comfortable and the bathrooms sparkling. The heating was very straightforward to use and the place warmed up very quickly. The information folder was comprehensive. The property was very well situated for easy access to the key cultural spots in Lincoln, 5 minutes walk to the Castle for example. We are able to park immediately outside Millside. We can heartily recommend Millside.

Millside is a beautiful property, perfectly situated to explore the wonderful city of Lincoln. The house was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved having our breakfast and the odd evening drink in the cute little rear yard, right next to Ellis Mill which is worth a visit in its own right. There are plenty of shops within a very short walk, including a wellstocked CoOp. As for pubs and restaurants, there are so many great venues, again within easy walking distance. We'd give a special mention to the Plough Boy pub just around the corner, run by the lovely Megan who became a real friend of the family during our week's holiday! Highly recommend this property if you're planning a trip to Lincoln, which I'd also recommend as it's well worth a visit.

Millside was very well maintained and clean. However the stairs into the upstairs bathroom had a big drop and my sister tripped in the night and banged her head. We did not realise that the stairs upstairs had two steps either side with no rail to hold and was not suitable for the elderly. The one major problem was that although there was a parking permit there was nowhere to park. If we had not had relatives nearby where we could park and they had to pick us up each day we would have been in a muddle especially when we arrived with our luggage.

A super holiday house in a super location for exploring Lincoln. The place was spotlessly clean, and the beds and sofas were comfortable, there was also plenty of hot water. I was concerned about the parking, as we have never used parking permits before but we parked with ease all week. Weve just had a lovely 4 night stay in Lincoln at Millside. The house is wellequipped, very clean and has a lovely ambience. It genuinely is suitable for five adults, and is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the Cathedral Quarter. The parking permits were great, and the location meant we could leave our cars for the duration of our stay. This would definitely be our first choice of accommodation, were we to return to Lincoln.

What an excellent holiday property! We could not find fault at all , a lovely welcome pack on arrival , a beautifully clean cottage and only a short walk from Lincoln city . Having a parking permit available made it a simple matter to park in the street at the front of Millside. The facilities are great , with a well equipped kitchen , comfortable sofas and beds , very good quality towels and linen . We had a lovely sunny bank holiday weekend and enjoyed sitting in the outside area , admiring the windmill next door . Would not hesitate to recommend

Very happy with the property that i stayed at, house was very clean tidy, and had everything you could wish , Also the street was very quite so it was easy to get a good nights rest. Plenty of local information to do with Lincoln and the surrounding area was in the house as well. In easy reach of Lincoln city center and the main attractions . Shops of great use on Burton road which was handy as very near by. Overall a great base and very comfy to use while in Lincoln.

This is genuinely one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in. Millside is so well designed, such a good use of space. It was spotless when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and it is in a fantastic location, local shops, restaurants and pubs just a few minutes walk and in the other direction the city centre. The parking permit was left out ready to use straight away. The treats and milk left were very welcome. The courtyard was lovely to sit out and with the view of the windmill. I would love to return to Millside in the future.

Another fantastic stay at Millside. This is a wonderful cottage in a great location. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable and the little extras in the welcome pack much appreciated. Very easy walking distance to the castle and cathedral and several excellent restaurants which meant we didn't need to use the car that much. However never had any difficulty parking even over the bank holiday. We will definitely be back again! Thank you.
