We had a friendly greeting from the owner, and he was very helpful. This is in a splendid location, only a short walk to the beach. The lodge was clean and tidy and looked great. The only thing that was missing was a hob, but everything else you need was there. Thanks will definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lockdown Lodge. It was the perfect location for us and our dog. We would definitely come again, but when we arrived home and went to rebook for the same week next year the cost unfortunately had increased by a huge margin that we could not justify the rise.

Lockdown Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our last minute getaway. The Lodge has been thoughtfully converted to create the perfect accommodation and makes for a very comfortable & cosy stay. Excellent facilities have been provided throughout. The addition of the porch to the entrance provides ample storage for coats, shoes & luggage. The enclosed garden area was secure & perfect for our pet pooch. Location wise, the Lodge was just a short walking distance from the Seacroft Bar, shop, and seafront. We received a very warm welcome from Andy, the owner of the Lodge, he was extremely helpful and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Lockdown Lodge.

We realised that we were going into a quite compact accommodation but we were very impressed at the way things were laid out and there was everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxed in this tastefully decorated place. .The place was spotless and hygiene was up to a high standard. We were slightly concerned about storage but there was a wardrobe plenty of coat hangers tooin the kitchen and there was extra storage under the bed and in the very clean bathroom.Private parking and a totally enclosed garden for our dog. The owners were very frendly and very helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble when dealing with one or two of our extra needs.being older we like a teapot teapot and long handled dustpan and brush and these were delivered promptly Access to the beach was very easy,about 10 minutes and the local Seacroft bar provided good reasonably priced meals and drinks. A superbly compact and comfortable holiday hideaway. So well located for walks and the seafront and shops. The onsite owners had thought of every detail to make it a perfect homefromhome.
