Apple Tree Cottage Reviews

Belinda
This pretty cottage had everything that we needed including a king size bed and large towels and the garden was very secure for our dog. The village is very quiet but has plenty of walks on its doorstep and the Green Man Pub is only a couple of minutes away by foot. A great place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet.
A. Very comfortable cottage with everything that we needed. The enclosed garden was enjoyed by Amber. The Green Man pub was excellent and not far to walk to. Lots to do in the area
Our week was really nice. Cottage and garden were great.Being all electric was a challenge,In what was a chilly week it was warm, snugly with the log burner.Would return in the future.
Such a lovely little cottage. Everything has been thought of and finally somewhere that provide decent sized towels! The bed was really comfortable one small thing the light from the heater did distract me a little from sleeping. It was in an idyllic setting and so calm and peaceful and cosy. A really lovely place to stay.
Apple Tree Cottage is lovely. The very high standard of presentation makes for a very comfortable stay. The cosy lounge with its log burner makes relaxing after a busy day very pleasant. Overall, the cottage and its location offer a super venue for a holiday.
This is a perfect cottage. everything needed for a relaxing stay.lovely enclosed garden.well equipped cosy cottage.quiet village with a pub doing exellent meals.good local walks. it is a complete package. we loved it.
Absolutely beautiful cottage and village. The cottage is well equipped and a perfect garden area for the dog and would be lovely in summer. The cottage is quiet and there is a very welcoming public house up the road that does wonderful food. From the pictures we had seen online, we did expect a chair and footstool along side the mall 2 seater sofa, this had been changed, and we understand things need to change through wear and tear, etc. Would we recommend this cottage, absolutely it was a perfect getaway, so much you can do walking or by car, Beautiful part of the country.
Our choice of selfcatering holiday properties are always led by enclosed garden and parking criteria and Apple Tree absolutely delivered. The living and bedroom areas were spacious for us and 2 dogs and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Thoroughly recommend.
Owners friendly and helpful made space for car when our friend came to visit. situated in the right place to visit Grantham and surrounding areas The Green Man is a good place to eat. accommodation is well laid out, kitchen has all you need. bed was comfortable plenty of storage in bedroom. great shower room happy with stay. David & Anita from Norwich.

We loved our stay and felt very much at home. The village has a great pub with excellent food and service. It's also dog friendly. There were lovely walks in the village and local amenities like shops were only a short drive away. The cottage was very clean and the garden was absolutely secure this isn't always the case even if advertised as such!. We did leave a note with a few comments which we got a prompt reply to. We'd definitely book to stay again a real little gem.
Lovely cottage. Relaxing holiday
An absolutely gorgeous little cottage with so much character. Beautiful original stone wall up the staircase to the bedroom and bathroom. We felt immediately at home. The garden was perfect for our dog completely safe and secure. Ropsley is a beautiful quiet little village with a great pub that serves wonderful food. It's perfect for long walks in the countryside and well placed for days out to places like Grimsthorpe Castle, Belton House, Belvoir Castle and Rutland Water.

Apple Tree Cottage is really beautiful . It is in a gorgeous setting next to the village Church. The private garden is perfect, the cottage spotless everything presented to the highest standard of comfort and convenience we cant recommend it highly enough as a base to explore the lanes, towns and villages of Lincolnshire . Thank you so much to Monica !
This is an excellent property where you can see the owners have thought carefully when provisioning this beautiful, little cottage that sits on a peaceful road in pleasant Ropsley. Lovely outdoor area if you want to sit out, though we were out exploring a lot! Thank you! We will definitely head your way when in the area again and would suggest others to do so too they won't be disappointed.
Rachael
Fabulous cottage, great location and good pub for food close by. Only 2 mugs and bowls so could not use the dishwasher. Hot water was very low pressure and did not get very hot. Due to the lack of mugs and bowls I seemed to constantly be washing pots.
Andrew
We had a great week in Apple Tree Cottage. Not the warmest week on record, but the wood burner kept us very warm in the evenings. Adequate facilities and information given, and have to mention how we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage. Overall a 5 star break.
Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend a meal in the Green Man. We had a great time and hope to stay again
Victoria
What a stunning cottage that has been sympathetically restored but with all mod cons. Set in a beautiful village with wonderful walks on your doorstep. The owners have thought of everything to ensure my stay was a home from home.
Charlotte
Beautiful cottage which was perfect for a preChristmas break. Lots of beautiful walks and the most dog friendly pub at the end of the road. The cottage was beautiful and immaculately clean. We could most definitely recommend a stay at Apple Tree Cottage. Thank you
We loved our stay here. It was comfortable and homely. Perhaps a new tv is in order for access to more channels and apps. We will definitely be back.
