Kantankye Lodge Reviews

Jonathan
Booked this spot as it welcomed dogs, had all the facilities we were looking for, and was close to some fab beaches. We had everything we needed, including a small field to walk our dogs around first and last thing and some decking to sit out on, and we found Pat and Dave to be the best hosts ever. Pat welcomed us on our arrival, and Dave suggested Huttoft beach to walk our dogs, which was just amazing. We were about 15 mins drive from Skegness, where we stocked up on Aldi groceries and went for a wander to the pier. Definitely going back later this year.

We all really enjoyed our stay. The owners were fantastic. The lodge absolutely perfect in every way. Easy to get to from Burgh le Marsh. Very convenient for a visit to Skeggy. On Friday we did have a power outage due to storm Claudia but this didnt cause any issues. power dip to blame all in all we had a great break & The lodge is a credit to the owners & staff.
Darren
Clean ,tidy & comfortable accommodation in a very quiet pleasant location . The pictures on the website dont show how big this place actually is inside, its like a Tardis . The welcome food and drink were a nice touch and very tasty . Couldnt fault the place and would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the area ,nearby Coastal towns are all within 30 mins drive .
Annette
Nice lodge as described. T Warm and cosy and had absolutely everything we needed
Our stay here was just perfect! The lodge is beautiful and feels like home as soon as you step through the door, has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. It's so quiet which was perfect for us, my dog settled like he'd always been there. Only 20 minutes drive into Skegness and Ingoldmells if you want a day out and 30 minutes up to Anderby Creek for the dog. Thank you so much for our stay, we will definitely be returning to this hidden gem!
Lovely property sent in lovely grounds. It was well set out and with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The property is all on one level and is great for those with restricted mobility.

We had an enjoyable stay. Greeted by Pat as we were having difficulty actually finding the accommodation. There was a welcome pack which was very well received. There was everything one would need for selfcatering. The surroundings were beautiful.

Has everything you could want and more, very equipped and comfortable, lovely area and lovely owners
Very enjoyable stay, Lodge beautiful. Very well equipped with everything you would need .There was even a defibrillator on site with easy access which was reassuring with my wife having a heart episode in June last year. Lovely welcome gift would highly recommend
Wow! This was an incredible find. We stayed from 4th of November as we were looking for a peaceful location away from fireworks with our two rescue dogs. It truly was peaceful beautiful surroundings so we enjoyed lovely long walks and spotted so much wildlife. The lodge was amazing we have stayed in many lodges, but none as well equipped as this one. A lovely lounge and dining area, amazing kitchen with utility room, family bathroom, twin bedroom and master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and large ensuite. Everything was immaculate towels provided which were soft and fluffy. There was a wrap around decking with a seating area where we enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine listening to the owls and other birds. It truly was a magical stay and obvious that the lodge was loved by the hosts rather than just a business let. Thank you for the welcome basket, tips on local walks and details of the nearby dog friendly beach. See you next year
Beautiful lodge, lovely owners.
Angela
Cottage was very well supplied with everything you would need even bin bags! The owner had provided some fresh fruit, milk and a plumb loaf a Lincolnshire specialty, and some treats for our dogs which was very thoughtful. The lodge was warm and comfortable and very quiet. We were able to walk our dogs on the caravan field in front of the lodge each morning which was very handy.
Georgina
All though the property was well equipped and comfortable one or two things like the kitchen tap and the bathroom fan wouldn't switch off. The outlook was overgrown through one of the lounge windows, some of the outside buildings were a little bit untidy. We would have preferred it if it hadn't been so out of the way, as some of the roads were in need of repair and quite narrow.
Stephen
We had a really enjoyable stay, the property met all our expectations, and was equipped to a very high standard. Nice locality and well placed to coastal resorts, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, which was the purpose of our visit.
Perfect holiday home. Lovely and clean, comfy and spacious lodge with everything you would need and more. Great location for exploring the coast and local Lincolnshire area. Very thoughtful owners.
Pamula
Faultless. Everything, and more, like welcome beers and cake, that is needed for a true 'home from home' feeling was provided. I felt my family and I were more like visiting cousins than paying guests, with Pat and David both very warm and welcoming, eager to make our stay perfect. There was a small problem with TV reception in the lodge, necessary when folks don't want to play the many board games etc., that were left for our amusement, and the repair began immediately. Previous holidaymakers had secretly damaged the clothes airer, and as soon as I mentioned it, a new and better one was ordered and provided. The site is lovely, tucked away in a quiet, green and very beautiful area, with the local coop just a mile away, full of friendly and helpful people. We've had a grand stay here, and are looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommended
An absolute gem. Perfect fir me, my grandson and my dog. Outstanding lodge, clean, comfy, beautiful surroundings. Thank you for the little gifts, was a wonderful gesture and felt extremely looked after. Would definitely go back again, if we could give this 10 stars we would definitely and easily. Thank you for a perfect break
The only thing missing was a radio that's just me but everything else was perfect. The craft beers with cheese & crakers left for us was a lovely touch

A lovely lodge well equipped and every thing you need on arriving there were a welcome pack and a gift of beer. We had a lovely relaxing 3 nights at Kantankye Lodge ! Modern and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely return, cant recommend it enough !
During our Easter break, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Kantanye cabin, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The cabin itself was spacious and wellmaintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forest from the cabin's large windows and outdoor deck. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals and enjoy family dinners together. The living room area was comfortable and inviting, with a fireplace that we lit in the evenings to create a cozy ambiance. Our youngest member MiloMalese dog enjoyed so much. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and we all had a restful night's sleep each night. The children loved exploring the nearby trails and playing in the yard while my spouse and I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. Overall, our stay at the Kantanye cabin was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this beautiful retreat in the Lincolnshire region
