Lovely cottage, surroundings and hosts

Really lovely cosy flat, in great condition and very clean and well cared for. We didn't speak to the owner but were greeted by their mum who lives in the lower part of the building and was very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room and bedroom were warm and comfortable, and there was a good selection of books and DVDs. We could just have done with some larger drawer storage for clothes, and a clothes airer we went swimming and also got very wet on a walk and didn't really have anywhere to dry our things. The location is most easily found by putting 'Barlings Abbey' into your satnav!

Excellent cottage apartment beautifully presented in a lovely location ideal for visiting all that Lincolnshire as to offer.

Perfect space for me and my pooch in a lovely rural location. Very quiet, ev charger was a godsend and the owners and their whole family were friendly and helpful throughout. An hours drive gets you to a beautiful beaches, national trust property and woodland walks. Woodhall spa is 30 mins away and worth a visit or just walk out of the accommodation and theres the Viking way on the doorstep. Well be back for sure!

Fabulous week in a lovely location. The cottage was as described. It was spotless and Carole and Jon were very welcoming. The wifi was very intermittent, however it didnt spoil our stay. We can only praise this studio, the construction as an upstairs space utilising the roof space , has been so well converted with thorough insulation, that you can barely hear the rain. The layout and furnishings make it very comfortable and homely. Plenty of space to park, also areas of space outside, some seats provided, to relax and soak in the total quiet other than the chorus of bird song. Jon and Carole are most amiable hosts, not in your face at the same time most helpful to give support. So convenient for us visiting Lincoln and our family. Thank you. Brian and Christine.

We had the most fantastic stay at Fairfield! It was exactly what we needed and very pet friendly. The studio is lovely, we were a little concerned about it being too hot given its upstairs, however we shouldnt have worried as there are lots of windows to keep the room cool so we didnt have an issue. Excellent location and hopefully we will be back! Perfect short break away.
