Receiver is one of two contemporary apartments at a former radar station in Claxby St. Andrew, Lincolnshire. Fully refurbished in 2026 to a very high standard, this is a genuinely unusual place to stay. It sits within the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape with panoramic views over open fields. No hot tub here, but the balcony and stargazing more than make up for it.

The Lincolnshire Wolds is a Dark Sky Reserve. Stargazing from the balcony is genuinely spectacular. Alford and Spilsby are both under 5.5 miles away. There's a pub less than a mile from the property. Hiking, cycling and horse riding are all accessible from the doorstep.

Receiver sleeps 2 in a super-king bedroom with walk-in en-suite shower. A double sofa bed accommodates two more guests. The upside-down layout puts the open-plan living space upstairs, flooded with light through huge windows and opening onto a sun lounger balcony.

Skegness is under 10 miles away. Louth is 13.5 miles. Woodhall Spa is 20.5 miles. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is worth the short drive.
