Pool Cottage, Broxholme

Wonderful cottage would definitely recommend this place. Clean with all the comforts of home and loved the hot tub thanks for a lovely stay.

Had a fantastic 3 nights here, the cottage itself has everything needed. The swimming pool is just amazing, the kids loved it, and the finishing touch is the private hot tub. Robin is such a good host. We will be back next year.

Arriving at pool cottage which was easy to find we were over the moon with the accommodation, was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a much needed break away from our busy lives. The welcome brownies were delicious and a big hit with the girls. Also the heated pool was amazing. We spent most of our time either in the pool or around it on the comfortable garden furniture. We were very lucky with the weather. We definitely will be back at pool cottage or the big splash The owner and her team are all absolute stars, very helpful and friendly. If its on you maybe list just book it

A lovely cottage with all the facilities you could ever want, plus more. The use of the pool and hot tub make this place a little bit special. Robin is a great host and is available if needed. Will definitely be back at some point in the future.

It was a lovely short, 2 night, last minute stay. The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable. The outdoor heated pool was clean and a great benefit since it was a very hot week on the UK. The owner was friendly and cooked us some delicious brownies on our last morning. We had a BBQ one evening and watched the sunset which was beautiful. All in all, a great find for a couple of just wanted 2 days away from the grind! I think the only 2 negative feedback is that the grounds around the cottage weren't ready for visitors. There was a lot of mess in the garden a bath tub which we later saw was for the owners dog to play in and the tennis court appearance was run down and derelict. The owner did apologise for not being ready for us as I don't think they usually had guests mid week for a short stay. It would have been nice to have a discount based on this. Also, the owner and her family used the pool at the same time as us on the 2nd day. It should have been reserved just for guests, who have paid to use it. Having said this, it suited out needs at the time and we enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break at the cottage. It was warm, comfortable, and cosy. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. We will definitely recommend to friends.

We really enjoyed our holiday at the cottage. It is extremely cosy and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the total quietness at night. The hot tub is superb and even had a few very quick dips in the outdoor pool. Would highly recommend the place.

Our overall experience was fantastic the cottage was perfect for a lovely relaxing few days, so much so we are already looking at dates we can visit again. The only thing I could suggest could have been better would be a cover on the downstairs quilt apart from that the cottage was perfect.

We had a lovely week at Pool Cottage. The owner was there to welcome us on arrival and answer any questions we had. She was always available during the week to offer any help if needed. There were chocolate brownies in the kitchen which our children throughly enjoyed and fresh eggs for breakfast. The cottage is amazing, very well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub is a great facility. The location is beautiful with surrounding fields, which you can see for miles and the town is only a short drive away. We didnt want to leave and will definitely be retuning in the summer, so the children can go in the swimming pool. I would highly recommend Pool Cottage.

The kitchen had everything you needed. Lovely touch as the owners left us homemade brownies and fresh eggs from their hens. Great log burner in the lounge and the hot tub was lovely. Shame the pool too cold to use we need to come back in warmer weather.

We have used this cottage several times, mainly during the colder winter months and whilst an unpopular time for some, we take advantage of the gorgeous log burner and the amazing hot tub! First set of logs supplied complimentary with additional logs available at an extremely reasonable price! Underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom make ones feet tingle with delight! The layout of the cottage is excellent but to note that for an older person the stairs as in an older cottage maybe a little steep but also bear in mind there is s sofa bed and accessible facilities downstairs. A modern fully equipped kitchen, a lovely conservatory which also takes you out to the pool area where there is a changing room and bathroom for use by the pool! So in contrast to all of those factors that make this cottage so cosy and welcoming, a little mad I know but the ladies take advantage of the swimming pool!!!!! Yes at outside temperatures of 2 and 3 degrees!!!!!! They say it is just mind over matter and reap the benefits of how the body reacts to the cold making it an invigorating and positive experience! Look up the Wim Hof method and all will become clear! Our host Robin absolutely cares! We had a welcome tray of delightful home baked chocolate brownies left with milk, fizz and spectacular fresh eggs from the chickens she keeps! The perfect host who is attentive and goes the extra mile to make things right! Simply spending a week or a weekend there is a real treat! We love it.

Lovely property, really cozy and comfortable. We loved the hot tub and owner living so close by was really handy. Robyn was quick to resolve any little issues we had. Rural location but only 15 mins from Lincoln. Pool would be fab in warmer weather. Thank you for a fab stay xxx

I was delighted to arrive to find the cottage decorated for Christmas, a sparkling decorated tree and fireplace made me feel very welcome, as a returning guest it was lovely to see that they had also remembered my preferences regarding the welcome goodies thank you. I have always been made to feel very welcome on my stays here.

Spent A Lovely Peaceful Weekend At This Cottage. My Wife and Son Loved Waking Up In The Morning And Strolling Around The Garden With All The Chickens. Place Was All Set Up Perfectly. Like A Home From Home With Comfortable Beds, Well Equipped Kitchen, Fresh Eggs and Milk left by the Owner, and The Brownies Were Lovely. Would Highly Recommend To Anyone Looking To Get Away For A Nice Chilled Break

Very comfortable, warm and cosy cottage. It was the perfect base for us to explore lincolnshire. And after our days out walking, the hot tub and pool were great additions to come back to. We really enjoyed our stay.

On Arrival found a warm, cozy house, with Homemade Brownies, Fresh eggs and milk in fridge. Amazing destination, quiet, with host insight made life that much more comfortable. Lived my morning chat with chickens as I saved scraps for them. Arrived with gousto box so all meals sorted, and had a fabulous weekend. Hot tub was icing on the cake.

We had a really lovely stay at pool cottage, the house had everything and more provided, and the pool and hot tub were well used by us all! Robin made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of info about local attractions.

Lovely character property in a tranquil location. Beds and bedding extremely comfortable. Fantastic pool and really appreciated the owners help with covering and uncovering, and her friendliness with the children.

Robin was an exceptional host and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. Unfortunately, the neighbouring guests were found to be very unreasonable as they expected us to request use of the communally shared facilities such as the pool and felt that they should be given an invite to shared outdoor meals with our friends and immediate family. Although the accommodation was familyfriendly with a basketball court, bikes and a tennis court, the two neighbours who had hired the larger cottage were displeased with the bouncing of a basketball at dusk during the school holidays. In consequence, we took the children to local parks to play so as not to spend awkward moments around the neighbours. Once again thank you Robin for all that you did for us. You're an absolute superstar!

Pool Cottage is such an incredible, and majestic place to stay at and relax at. Whether it be resting on the side of the pool, getting a few laps in, sleeping in the comfortable beds, cooking up a succulent barbie sitting down in the lovely warm hot tubs or just sitting down watching the day go by. Second time there, this time staying for a week and it just flew by. Not enough praise can be given to the owner for how amenable she is and how much care and attention she gives to her guests. It makes my girlfriends world how much time Robin is able to spend with her youngest and even with the chickens. Would highly recommend that anyone looking at this to come and stay a while and enjoy this wonderful little slice of heaven.

During our stay everything was perfect. The owner was very polite and accommodating! The cottage was maintained and had everything you needed. Private hot tub and cleaned regularly nice additional. My son absolutely loved helping with the chickens and enjoyed the tennis area. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

This was our second stay at Pool Cottage and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! The house was warm and cosy with everything you would need for an enjoyable week. We used the gas BBQ on several occasions, which was fabulous. The hot tub was in a private location and was just wonderful to get into after a busy day sightseeing! It was a shame we couldnt use the pool like we did in the summer but it was just too cold!! Thanks to Robin for the fresh eggs, spring flowers, chocolate brownies and wine. I recommend Pool Cottage you will love it!!!
