A lovely place to stay there is only one bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge . As I holidayed with my mother perhaps twin beds in the bedroom would make it more adaptable if you are not a couple. Dog friendly with a lovely secure garden including a summer house and pergola with chairs and tables. Spacious kitchen well equipped and a lovely shower room. This is all on one level with French doors to the garden. Out in the countryside surrounded by fields and 10 miles from Mablethorpe . A lovely accommodation to stay in

The Garden Annex is such a lovely peaceful. Place to stay away from the hustle & bustle!. Enclosed garden for Lola so excellent for our furry friends. Annex is well equipped and very clean. Nothing we can fault at all. This is our 5th stay so waiting for our 6th!!!! Plenty of walks through the fields where you can see deer & hates, wonderful.

We loved the Annexe it was very clean and comfortable and in a very quiet location surrounded by fields. There was everything you needed plus extras. A lovely secluded garden with a sun house and loungers to use, perfect for a summers evening. A great location for visiting this part of the Lincolnshire coast and surrounding areas. Would definitely book again if visiting this part of Lincolnshire.

If you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere look no further than the Old Gatehouse Annex. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The mattress was a bit soft for me but I always take a mattress topper when I go away so it wasn't a problem. My husband said he had had a good nights sleep each night. It was lovely to sit in the garden under the canopy. We were so excited when we saw a wild hare in the fields opposite. It is easy to get to the coast and other places. If we were ever back in this area we would book the cottage again.

Beautiful annexe with private parking & garden. The annexe is perfect for a couple with or without dogs. It's a great size plenty of space both inside & out. Every room was very clean with everything you could need. It's close to Alford but shops are limited so if your eating in all the time you need to be prepared. The location is great fields all around, great for wildlife spotting but close enough so you can get around easily. We would recommend this gem to anyone & would happily stay again

Perfect! The word Annex often conjures up thoughts of small and not private, however, this doesnt apply to the Old Gate House Annexe. It is spacious but with a cosy homely feel and very clean. Lovely big, fluffy, fresh smelling towels, great shower, comfy bed and sofas. The Annexe is very well equipped and had everything I needed and more, plus a well maintained private garden with suntrap seating area, summerhouse and private parking. High standards throughout. Peaceful location along winding country roads yet only 10 mins drive from Alford with shops, takeaways, pubs etc, and 20 mins drive away from SuttononSea, Mablethorpe and Skegness. I would love to stay again.

The annexe was a delightful place to stay with all the facilities available to hand. Internally well maintained and with an enclosed garden for our dog Kallie to roam about. The weather was extremely hot so the canopy covering the outside table and chairs came into good use as did the sun loungers which were provided. On an evening it was nice to sit with the doors open and let some cool air in. All communications with George the owner were dealt with very promptly and efficiently. Would certainly recommend and use again.

Lovely little residence that has all the home comforts required. Clean, tidy, well furnished and very tranquil. Although attached to another residence it doesn't feel like it is as very well partitioned from each other. Loved the secure garden for the dog. Easy to find, parking great and access to other places was easy. Would use it again if we were going to that part of the country.

Lovely clean accommodation, everything you could possibly need is available. Bed was very comfortable. More spacious than pictures suggest. Garden secure and safe for my dog to enjoy. My stay was spoilt by very wet weather, so not able to sit outside or use the summerhouse as I had hoped. All in all a very lovely place to stay if you want peace & quiet. It was my 1st time away with my dog and I would return again in the future and this holiday property will be my benchmark for other properties in the future.

Our second visit so new what to expect and would book again for a short break. The stones for a pathway are becoming more of a challenge as we get older and there are a couple of uneven areas approaching the doorway. Would recommend for a break in this area

We had no electricity for nearly 24 hours which wasnt too pleasant. not owners fault Owners were very informative . It was pitch black no fridge and a few torches battery operative candles. The summer house wasnt open. It shows an ashtray in listing so does looks like you can smoke in there? But says no smoking. It is impossible to walk to pub from there, roads arent too safe to walk along. But visiting nearby villages they very friendly and dog friendly. Place its self lovely clean and all that is needed for a short break.

Our first venture into renting a holiday cottage for many years. We have a small old dog and in pretty much most respects this was perfect for us. The cottage was spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed for our stay. The secure garden was absolutely brilliant for our old dog as she spent ages out there exploring and yet she was always visible to us. We visited in February and the cottage was toasty warm all of the time. As others have said, the bus units and milk left for us by the owner were a lovely and welcome touch
