The house is beautifully clean, spacious and in a very private position with the beach literally round the corner. The only drawback was the road in front which has become deep sand. At least 3 vans got stuck there in the space of a week. One for 5 hours preventing any cars getting out. The owners of the few houses there should get together to make the road good.

Perfect location for the beach especially if you are a large group as the house accommodates up to six guests. We must've liked the place as we have already booked again for next year

Good accommodation for 5 . Mezzanine bedroom is quite claustrophobic and there's very little headroom. The parking outside not easily useable and the second space is a myth, unless you have a 4x4 with good ground clearance to get over the large concrete footing where part of the garden wall has been demolished. Because of the sand and the slope it's almost impossible to avoid wheel spin. The door locks are difficult to operate. I left comments to that effect in the cottage. The literature refers to three recycling bins in the kitchen, but we could only find a commercial sized general waste bin outside. There are three toilets and two showers , but the lock on the upstairs bathroom doesn't work. But, the house is well equipped and the furniture and beds are very comfortable and there is a fab decked terrace for a big party. Private access to the beach is amazing and the beach at Anderby Creek is beautiful.

The only thing I would say, and not really sure how to combat it but there were so many flies. A swatter was provided and I must have swatted over 100 flies over my trip. So possibly something more effective being available, especially around the kitchen area. Other than that, I enjoyed the time. Great location.

We had a grand week at Westcott. Lovely property, cosy, clean, well kitted out and well appointed. Beach a quick walk away, steps involved to use cut through, fortunately not an issue for us. Welcome treats appreciated. Only negative was that the back door was difficult to lock, we stopped using it. It needs some attention. Overall a lush week. We'll be back.

Westcott was immaculately clean when we arrived. The house was as described and as per photos with an unusual design with steep staircases. It is accessed via a quiet nonmaintained road. The welcome goodies were much appreciated thank you! A few minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach was an absolute win and it wasnt busy which was great. Westcott is within easy driving distance to other more commercial beaches with associated facilities. Not in the description were two more local shops, one with a cafe at the end of the road and one in a caravan park less than 10 mins walk away. The city of Lincoln was a fantastic day out and, much nearer, Mablethorpe is worth a visit! Would have liked a book at the house with previous guest recommendations top tips.

We had a lovely stay here the house was comfortable and kitchen had everything you needed and a lovely welcome box thank you. It was in a great position to get to the beach. We did have an issue with the shower door but as we were only there for a short stay contacted Molly and as it wasnt damaging the bathroom left till after our stay. Great to have outside facilities when coming back from the beach to get rid of sand etc. the outside space was a bit tired and the little path to beach overgrown but handy. Lastly in description it did say sea view which i couldn't find! However a good position with very friendly local cafe nearby. Thank you

Great property, has everything you need. Beach was a 3 minute walk through the back garden. There was an issue with the heating, but owner kept in touch and provided free standing heaters in all rooms, plus there is a dishwasher and electric shower. Very quiet, which we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed our break and would definitely go back. Our dog loved it too.

Nice old property renovated to a high standard. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped. Good location. Our dogs settled Well too. Only slight criticism, people must be able to walk up steps, in the garden and the stairs in the house are steep. Overall a good holiday property, which we would book again.

The property was very comfortable! We had a lovely break away! The only problem was we could only empty the rubbish into the recycling wheelie bin as it was the only one there. We couldn't find any of the other wheelie bins, we left a note apologising to the cleaners.

Outside needs a but of TLC but inside was clean and well equipped. Bedroom 1 was a good size with lots of storage, bedroom 2 was very tight with only hanging space for clothes, most had to be left in a suitcase on the floor. Bedroom 3 is also tight and the bed is very low down floor probably due to the low ceiling.Our friends had Bedroom one and my husband and I had separate bedrooms due to the size, floor space and clothes storage. However, like said, downstairs was lovely. Closeness to the beach was perfect for walking the dogs

The door in one of the bedrooms does not open properly because of the way the bed is situated. No storage in one of the bedrooms for clothes. Coving in main bedroom falling off ceiling. Light switches behind doors in certain rooms. Water leak coming from the bathroom when the shower is used. It drips downstairs on to the windowsill next to the back door. Windows outside covered in cobwebs. Bins were full of rubbish when we arrived on the Saturday so were unable to use until they got emptied on the Thursday We had to expose of our rubbish in public bins until then. Shower was useless it had no pressure so to ages to was shampoo out of your hair. No mention about the main staircase being very steep. We had our mum and dad with us who are both in their 70s and really struggled with the stairs.

Great location. Enjoyed a 3 nights stay with 2 dogs, out side area totaly safe for dogs. The hob is not easy to control and not helped by the overhead light on the extractor fan not working. The genaral waste bin was full.

Two minor points to tell the owner Downstairs toilet lock needs replacing had someone locked in rescued with a screwdriver passed through the window . On arrival all refuge bins outside where full .Bin men came into the Dell on Thursday morning but our bins were not emptied. Turns out they have to be wheeled to the end of the track.This information was not given to us in our information pack.
