The family bathroom has a cast iron roll-top bath and mosaic walk-in shower. The annexe sleeps four across two ground-floor doubles with a Jack and Jill en-suite and a cinema projector wall with DVDs.
Belton House (National Trust) is two minutes away. Woolsthorpe Manor, Isaac Newton's birthplace, is 25 minutes south. Belvoir Castle is nearby. Rutland Water offers cycling and watersports within easy reach.

To reach Sunny Cottage by car, head towards the village of Barkston near Grantham in Lincolnshire. The property is accessed via a pair of five-bar gates leading to a gravel parking area. There is ample off-road parking for several cars. Note that the gravel drive is deep in places so low-clearance vehicles should take care.
The nearest railway station is Grantham, which is on the East Midlands Railway and LNER mainlines with direct services from London King's Cross. From Grantham station you will need to arrange a taxi to reach the cottage as there is no practical walking route.
