This is our third visit. I have known the owners several years now. Sadly Freda passed and the business is run by her daughter. She is a lovely lady and so approachable. It is an amazing property especially for privacy and the fishing is amazing. I am looking at least three visits per year if it is to continue as a business let through Sykes.

My parents and their friend had a great stay at Lake View Lodge. It is comfortable and well equipped with comfy beds a and excellent showers. The view over the lake is lovely.

It states that there is free WiFi, but that isn't the case. You must buy a WiFi code from the park, and the signal or speed isn't the best. Communicating with the owner was straightforward. We had to contact her due to the high winds, which caused a balcony glass panel to fall out, to make her aware of this. I also contacted her the day before departure to ask if we could stay in the lodge until later that day. Skykes had called us to offer a significantly discounted extended stay for a few more nights, which we couldn't do due to work commitments. However, when we contacted the owner, it was not an issue to check out at 3 p.m. instead of 10 a.m. on departure day because no one came in after us. The lodge was well maintained. The only issues were that the toilet seat in bedroom one was broken, and the extract fan did not work in the shower in the ensuite bathroom for bedroom one.

It is a nice lodge, quite comfortable. The real bugbear that we had is that the wifi is awful. It is so bad that you cant really use the smart tv. The signal will not cope with it.

This is our third stay at Lake View, home from home. everything you need, for our stay it was a pity about the weather, cant wait to go again.

Just wanted a break and a rest and that is just what we got in style. The lodge was clean tidy comfortable and placed in the ideal spot looking over the lake . After a long weekend that is exactly what we got felt really good will go again.

We just love this lodge and all the fishing that goes with it. Freda is a wonderful host. A magical location.

We have just come back from a lovely weeks stay at Lake View Lodge. The lodge is so cosy and homely we were sad to leave. It is situated on a lovely part of the site and the deckingpatio gets the sun all day. The owner is very friendly and helpful, lives nearby should there be any problems. The site is fabulous and so peaceful with plenty to do in the local area. We will definitely be back.

Some of the facilities were not working properly. TV and Internet signal was poor. Fishing was good.

It's a lovely peaceful lodge to stay in. Bed was very comfortable and shower was a decent size. Down a very narrow lane but we didn't have a problem with it. Fishing according to my husband excellent kept him happy all week. No wifi though again I was quite happy not to have internet access for a week!

Well up to expectations Sykes did it again. We had one problem with WiFi in lodge but one phone call an it was sorted. Fishing was great could not stop pulling them out.
